The club recently launched its sponsorship drive....

St. Finian’s GAA club has grown hugely over the last five years. We have expanded the number of members and teams playing in the club in both the girls and boys section. We have developed our clubhouse hall, toilets and gym. We have invested money in our club pitches and maintenance equipment. We have built storage facilities for juvenile equipment.

All of this work has been done to allow children from Newcastle to play Gaelic Football in an environment which is inclusive, healthy and safe. We are working hard to ensure that our facilities are of the highest standard so that it is easier for our Mentors to focus on coaching and developing the players on their teams.

We predict that our club will continue to grow as Newcastle grows over the next five years. With that growth will come an increase in costs. It also means an increase in opportunity. The sponsorship brochure outlines the projects that we would like to undertake if we can secure enough funding.

We are also eager to allow our club grounds to become a community grounds. Already it is fantastic to see the numbers from Newcastle who are at the pitch each weekday evening and weekend morning. I would encourage you to emphasise to potential sponsors that would be contributing towards projects that would benefit all of the Newcastle community and not just St. Finian’s members.

We are asking all club members to go to companies, businesses or families who they think may be in a position to support our club and ask them to make a donation.

All of the details of the four sponsorship packages are explained in the sponsorship brochure. It outlines the cost and what each sponsor will get in return. The reason that the costs are higher in year one is to offset the cost of the production of the sign.
