● This week kicked off with our Cheltenham Tipster Competition. Thanks to everyone who entered - we had a great response. There were 4 days of great racing and a bit of banter. Our winner, Mairead Byrne, emerged on day two of the competition staying clear at the top with 30+ points.

Prizes went to....

Mairead Byrne - €250

Fergal Murray - €100

Michael Cleary - €50

John Campbell - €50

Jamie Flanagan - €50

Thanks to Darren Delaney for running another successful Cheltenham fundraiser for the club.

● Massive support shown for our Inters on Wednesday night. I know the players and management really appreciated it. Unfortunately the lads didn't quite get the result they deserved but there was a great showing of effort and resilience to keep on fighting right to the final whistle.

● We had two mascots on the night who were in for the coin toss from our U8s mixed team - Erin Winders and Jake Kavanagh, pictured here with both captains Sean McCarthy - St. Finians and Sean Houstas - O'Tooles

● A massive thank you to @junos_coffee_trailer and @marykateskitchen for their amazing coffee and treats on the night absolutely delicious!! We will keep you all posted of when they will be returning to the pitch soon!

● Junior men- Fantastic win for the newly promoted mens AFL 10 team away from home against a fancied St Marks team. Winning by two points at half time 02-08 to 03-03 where we had the advantage of the breeze. The lads really turned it on in the second half where everyone put in a great shift and through a great panel effort with a wonderful blend of youth and experience the lads came out victorious winning with a final score of 03-17 to 03-05.

Also notable that there were 8 different scorers!

● U14 Boys had an impressive game away against Round Towers Clondalkin in their league competition

● U15 Girls had another win in their league campaign away to Thomas Davis B

● U13 Girls had a 1 point away win in what was a very competitive match against Man O War.

● All our upcoming fixtures are on Clubzap and will be posting on our socials
