• Each entrant must select one horse for each of the 3 selected races on a given day, details of races will be posted to the competition Whatsapp group.

• Race cards for the relevant races will be circulated on the morning of each race day in the group with the individual’s selections for that day to be submitted by 1pm to Darren Delaney directly at 0867774090.

• Please include your name, the race times and the NAME of each of your horses when submitting directly to Darren.

• How points are scored: If your horse is deemed the winner of a race, the points you score depends on the ‘SP’(starting price/Odds) that the horse returns at E.G 10/1 = 10 points. If your horse is second you score half the ‘SP’ E.G 10/1 = 5 points. If your horse is 3rd you score 1/3 of ‘SP’ and so on depending on the number of runners.

• Placings/points: 4 horses in a race or less = winner only 5-7 horses = winner + 2nd place. 8-15 horses = winner, 2nd + 3rd place. 16 horses or more = winner, 2nd, 3rd + 4th place.

• In the case of a dead heat for a winner- each horse involved will be awarded full points, similarly in a dead heat for a placing, each horse for second would receive the usual half the ‘SP’ price and so on.

• In a case where a horse is awarded a race following a stewards enquiry, both first past the post and the horse that is then awarded the race would be awarded full points.

• In the case of an individual’s selection being a non-runner –their selection then goes on to the ‘SP’ Favourite. In the case of joint favourites it will be the first horse in alphabetical order.
